Renowned neuropathologist Bennet Omalu, who has been instrumental in identifying chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in former football players, is once again urging Tua Tagovailoa to retire from the NFL.
Omalu expressed deep concern for Tagovailoa's well-being after the quarterback suffered his third known concussion during a recent game. He warned that continued exposure to head trauma could lead to permanent neurological damage.
