INDIANAPOLIS — Butler basketball fans might be seeing a certain Indiana Fever player in their midst at games this winter at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Star rookie Caitlin Clark said Tuesday she plans to attend some Butler games after her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, was hired as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs.
She may even become a bit of a fan — but not at the expense of her homegrown Hawkeyes.
"It'll be fun to go to those games," Clar
k said. "I love college basketball, and obviously he's been around it his whole life and invested a lot into it. It'll be fun, it'll give me something to do all throughout the offseason as well, give me someone to root for, but it's definitely still 'Go Hawks.
